Christmas with Sara

The kids got a surprise visit from their most favorite baby sitter in the world tonight...Sara. She came to bring them Christmas presents and played and ate dinner with us. They had so much fun. The presents were a hit...Moon sand for Chase...playdoh for Hunter... a puzzle for Dylan and a magnetic princess dress up doll for Carleigh. She always know just what they like. We love you Sara!!!!!

Aunt Stephanie knows best!

Only Aunt Stephanie would know Chase well enough to know how to make his Christmas. A Christmas pinata full of candy. Of course there was not any trying to get it open or anything, he tore into it and got all the candy out to put in in his stash! I do believe that was his favorite present.

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas Day at home. Everyone came to see us. The kids had so much fun with all their new toys. Dylan got a wagon, Carleigh a Barbie jeep and the boys new bikes. We ate and played all day. So much fun!

Christmas Eve at Meme and Grandad's

Christmas Eve we went to Meme and Grandad's to open presents. The kids had fun of course especially being with their cousins Riley and Reese.

Christmas with the Dunn's

Sunday we had a wonderful day with the Dunn's. We got Grandmom out of the nursing home and she got to spend the day with us. She loved seeing all her grands and great grands. We were so thankful to finally get a picture of her with all of them. THe kids had sooo much fun with all their cousins. We are so thankful to God that we have this Christmas to spend together.

Dylan finally decided to pull up today...man am I in trouble now. He is all over the place and has 6 teeth. I guess he is trying to catch up with his big brothers and sister.

A very special visit.

Tom's uncle and Godfather came to see us Friday night. We were so glad to see him since it had been several years. He lives in Maine so this was not a short trip for him. He got to see Carleigh and Dylan for the first time and the kids adored him! Hopefully it will not be so long next time. So good to see you Uncle Ellerbe!!

My little bus riders!

So I finally gave into the boys wanting to ride the bus. Their best friends were riding and since the bus usually gets here before we do with the carpool line I decided ok. Their first day was Friday and they loved it. My babies are getting too big!!

A True Christmas Adventure!

This year we decided to go and take a trip and cut our own tree. I found a place that was only 45 miles away...NOT...it was 80miles to take this adventure. Of course by the time we got there the kids were starving and so after taking care of that it was off to try and find the tree farm we were going to. WE kept seeing, " Follow the Santa's"...problem was we could not find any santas. At last we found it and it really was worth the trip. We took a hayride to cut the tree...Tom cut it himself and the kids loved it. Don't let anyone tell you that it is cheaper to cut your own! That was not the case either. All in all it was a great family day but next year the nursery down the street will be just as good!!!!!

Welcome to the neighborhood!

Today Mom and Dad moved about a half a mile from us. We are so excited...especially the kids. Their new house is beautiful and the kids really love the fact that they can ride their bikes to Meme and Grandad's. Carleigh was right in the middle of helping today and of course already had to spend the night tonight. We are so glad that they are even closer to us!!!

A Day at the Park

Abby was full blast as usual!

We enjoyed a great day at the park yesterday. The kids had so much fun....even Dylan who loved the swing. We decided that we just need to build a park in our backyard with all the kids!

So he does not have it perfect but at least he has finally decided to try it! I am thinking by the end of the week everyone better watch out..... " D Man" will be on the loose!

Happy Halloween

What a fun night we had. The whole crew was here including Riley, Reese, Jackson, Davis and Abby. The kids loved every minute of it. BUT...the best thing all night was our little skunk! Now you have to admit...is that not the cutest skunk you have ever seen?
