Proud Brothers

Chase and Hunter are very proud of their little brother. It is so funny to watch them with him. They want to do everything for him , although I am sure that will change soon. Hunter's only concern is that he does not want to change any diapers and Chase wants to know when he will have teeth so he can eat. Dylan you are in for a ride with these two!!

Welcome Home Dylan!

Well after many long weeks and ALOT of prayers Dylan Ray joined us on March 28th at 2:30pm. He weighed 6lb 3oz which was not bad considering he was a preemie. He is doing great and we are already home. His brothers and sister are sooooo excited. Thank you everyone for all thoughts, prayers and help you have given Tom and I over the past couple of months. It was a rough ride but he was worth every bit of it!

A VERY LONG week!

Sorry no post for a while but it has been a little hectic around here. We went for a scheduled visit with the doctor on Monday morning and I was sent straight to the hospital. What we thought was a 24 observation turned into a week long of medication changes on the blood pressure, an amio, and I have no idea what else. It was just crazy. I am back at home tonight....thank goodness but I am not sure how long I will be here. I have to go back to the hospital in the monring for another steroid shot and to be monitored for a little while. Now that 3 doctors have taken on my case maybe the end is in sight. The doctors have really been great and they are trying to keep this little man in as long as possible. I will keep you all updated. Thank you for all the calls and prayers. We need them.

Happy 5th Birthday Chase!

Thanks to Meme we pulled off a party for Chase today. With me in the hospital since Friday it was not very easy for anybody but with Meme in full action the party took place. I got home right in time after alot of sweet talking the doctor into letting me go home for my baby's birthday. I cannot believe he is 5 today! Thank you everybody for helping out so much.... hopefully we will be back to some kind of normal very soon!

Baby Update

We went today for another ultrasound of Baby Cole and he is still hanging in there. He weighs about 4 1/2 lbs right now so we were excited to hear that. The doctor is trying to hold him off for another week and then he will be in the clear. We think he looks like Chase in this picture.... tell us your thoughts!

Showered with Diapers!!

Thanks to Meme and Aunt Kerri we are really ready for Baby Cole(still no name) now. They gave us a wonderful diaper shower! The girls really had fun in their matching blue dresses that Meme made. So now all we need is a name and a baby... which we hope we wait at least another week. We will keep you updated.

No more training wheels!

Chase learned how to ride his bike without training wheels this weekend. He was so excited! Of course he does not have it perfect yet but he is getting there and cannot wait to be able to catch up to Hunter.

Mama's Little Helper

Chase is really being my little helper now with me being on bedrest. For anyone who knows me well enough you know what a clean freak I am. It is driving me crazy not being able to do all I usually do. This morning Chase decided that he would help. I guess I didn't know how brainwashed I have them also! Hey they will be good husbands one day!

Carleigh was so excited to be able to join in the fun of riding the gator with the boys. Tom bundled her up... in the boys coats and she was ready to go! She didn't last long in the cold but it was fun while it lasted!

The Boys

The boys have been pretty anxious this week with Mom being on bedrest so today Daddy and Uncle Marc took them to ride four wheelers, gators, dirtbikes, etc. Even buck got to go on this trip. They are so nice and tired tonight that hopefully it will keep them calm for a little while! Wishful thinking...

My Girls!

Everyone said that when I had children the dogs would take backseat....WRONG! Lacy is still as much a baby as the other 3. Here are my girls taking a nap together. Yes, Lacy is still a lap dog, still sleeps with us and still gets her way!

Happy Birthday Reese!

Happy Birthday Little Princess! I cannot believe that you are 2!!! Next year maybe we will celebrate our birthdays together.

Finally some snow

The boys were so excited to see some snow this morning. They have spent the entire morning in and out. Carleigh said , " It is too cold for me". Now they cannot wait for Daddy to get home and ride four wheelers in it... that is when the real fun begins!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day we took full advantage of it being a family day. We let the boys do some four wheeling and then we all took a ride on the trails around our house. We rode to Lake Robinson. It was pretty funny.. I rode with Chase and Tom and Carleigh rode on the other four wheeler.Hunter now has the dirt bike down pat so it all worked out. Carleigh insisted on her helmet and boots like the boys... only her boots are rain boots.

Daddy's Girl!

Carleigh has Tom so wrapped that it is really unbelievable! She walks around constantly, " Daddy, Daddy". She wants her Daddy to sleep with her and brush her hair. I love it but I do have to remind her every once in a while that I am Daddy's girl too and her comment is, " NO, my Daddy!"

Monster Jam

Well the boys talked me into going with them this year to the monster jam. It was all worth it to see the excitement on their little faces. They had so much fun and Tom and I could not take our eyes off of them. The things a mom does to make her boys happy! Carleigh stayed with Meme and Grandad she said, " I go to monster trucks, no". Thank goodness!!

Carleigh and Uncle Duck

Not only does Carleigh have her Daddy wrapped she also has her way with Uncle Duck. I never thought I would see the day... Tom doing pigtails and Uncle Duck feeding baby dolls and playing kitchen. She already has a way with men... guess I am teaching her well.

Daddy did my hair!

Carleigh insisted on Tom putting ponytails in her hair tonight and this was the outcome. The sad part was he really tried and actually did them twice. Chase told her she looked like she had devil horns. She did not care at all because her DADDY did them!!!!

Desperate for Snow!

The boys were so disappointed this morning to find no snow! Chase was so excited there was ice on the deck because he thought the snow would come after the ice. This is his version of ice skating...leave it to Chase!

Tired Little Girl

Carleigh goes now until she just drops. She fell asleep in the car this weekend and

Tom and I were laughing she was snoring so loud. I guess that is what you get trying to keep up with 2 big brothers! The snoring is her Daddy's genes!

We went today for the ultrasound of the baby's heart...still no name. Everything looked great and they got some really good pictures of his face. He was showing out opening and closing his mouth. Some of you probably do not know what you are looking at but these 3d ultrasounds are really amazing.
