A Vacation at last!

My Boogie Boarding Boys!



Well we finally took a family vacation and headed to Folly Beach for the week. We had so much fun.. so did the kids. I don't think my children would ever get tired of the beach.. just like their Mom. It was much needed for all of us !!!! Here are a few pictures but there are more coming.

A fun summer day

We finally braved the water park and took the kids. Their cousin Maggie came up to go with them and they had so much fun. Maggie really entertained them. They went on water slides and the lazy river but their favorite part was just the water playground with water coming from everywhere. It really was alot of fun.

Summer Haircuts

So I finally gave into Tom and let the boys get a buzz... it killed me but they did look pretty cute. They loved it and say they look like Daddy now. Here they are showing how cool they are!

Fun with Aunt Rae

The kids love their Aunt Rae and they got to spend some quality time with her today. They went swimming at her pool and then decided to get her on the playground with them. I think she loved it even though they wore her out! Love you Aunt Rae!

This apartment thing is getting old!

The boys are so desperate to get outside that they decided to create a masterpiece for all of our neighbors. So the walkway at the aparments are nicely decorated. I think they are really getting tired of this apartment thing....I know I am.

More birthday pictures

Carleigh loved her kitchen that Meme and Grandad gave her...the boys did also. The boys gave her some cooking utensils and pots and food and she has been cooking "supper" for us everynight. Baylee gave her some beautiful dress up clothes but she had to try them out first. I think I am more excited about playing dress up than Carleigh is.

A Party for Carleigh finally!

We finally got to have a little party for Carleigh Sunday and she loved it. She did not know it was not her real birthday. She loved opening her presents and really loved blowing out her candles. Here are a few pictures from her party. I will put more on later.

I don't know what happened this past week but Carleigh turned 2 and turned into a different child. She is such a mess. VERY bossy, demanding, and such a priss! I don't know where she gets that from...... Her friends Lauren and Anna Kate gave her a Poodle purse for her birthday and she will not let anyone touch it. She has not put it down since they gave it to her. Her face in these pictures tells you a little of the attitude she has! Watch out!

We haven't forgotten Carleigh's Birthday!

With all that has been going on Carleigh's birthday has been on hold. Of course she has not done without. She actually keeps having mini parties and she is getting really use to us singing Happy Birthday to her. Her Uncle Marc bought her a chocolate cake from Charleston. It honestly weighed 15 lb... and she dug right in. So she thinks we are having a constant party with cake almost everyday and getting presents. Her cousin Reese just thinks it is all so funny! She just joins in on the fun.

Finally Home!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I finally got discharged from the hospital today. I really appreciate everyones's prayers and all the help Tom and I had with the kids. The whole ordeal was pretty scary for us so it was nice to know the kids were taken care of. Thank you everybody!

Happy Fourth!

We spend our 4th of July at the lake... of course. It was really alot of fun with family and friends both there. The kids really had a blast. Even Baby Bryce took a dip in the baby pool. The big event of the day though was my baby, Chase, tried to ski for the first time. He was almost up but the fell and went under. That was it for the day. At least he tried and says he will again next weekend.

Happy Birthday Riley!

This Saturday we celebrated my nephew Riley's 6th birthday. It was so fun having a day on the lake with family and friends. The girls loved the food and the boys loved the boat and the lake. Of course everyone crashed on the way home. Happy Birthday Riley! We love you and cannot believe you are 6!!!!

Well the kids are sure having fun with this house thing. We were trying to clean up after all the rain and boy did they have fun in it tonight....Carleigh in a smocked dress muddy from head to toe! Hunter said he was the project manager and Chase... well who knows what he was.. just into everything.

A Late Fathers Day Picture

I didn't get a picture of the kids with Daddy last Sunday for Fathers Day so today before church I snapped one of them. They sure do love their Daddy!!

Getting Excited!

The house is almost completely framed now. I am really getting excited. Yes I took pictures of my stairs.. I cannot wait to get into the house where the kids can roam free again. I have taken pictures of everything. Tom laughed because I took pictures of the doors ,windows, and roof that was delivered today..hey I have never built before so it is so new and exciting.

Pool Party

Today we had a pool party with our old neighborhoods. The kids were so excited to have Anna Kate and Lauren over to swim. They really miss them and so do I. We had fun guys... maybe we can do it again next week.

It is beginning to look like a house....

They started framing the house this week which is very exciting for us. The kids are a little confused of house you can make a room out of a bunch of wood but the are excited anyway.. the best part for them is going out there every evening and playing in the dirt!

Cousins

The kids always have so much fun with their cousins Riley and Reese. They are all so close in age it like having one big family. Of course they all fight like brother and sisters also....but most of the time it is good. Carleigh and Reese are really starting to enjoy eachother. They spent Father's Day coloring and playing together. Reese really loves Chase and Hunter!! Of course she calls all the boys Chase!!

Father's Day

Tom won the battle for Father's Day... we spent it at the lake of course. We all went to Marc and Kerri's lakehouse to spend the day. Mom and Dad loved watching all the grandkids swimming. Carleigh is getting very brave.
