Happy New Year!!!!

We had our own little New Year's party with our pajamas and donuts! The kids thought it was great...especially with their hats. Tom and I decided we wouldn't trade spending New Year's at home with them for anything even if everyone did crash by 9o'oclock.

That's My Boys

The boys spent the day with Daddy and Mr. Mike riding their four wheelers and dirt bikes. They had so much fun. They will obviously have a lot of tricks to show their little brother when he gets here!

Merry Christmas

What a Christmas we had! Chase got a four wheeler which solves a lot of the boys fights...thank goodness. The kids were so excited this year and so were Tom and I. They had picked such special gifts for each other and for us. Then to make it all even better Chase was quick to ask why we got presents for Jesus's birthday. Then he wanted to know if Jesus would have a party in heaven or at church. I think he may be our future preacher!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at home with everyone visiting us. The kids were so happy to not be out traveling which made us very happy. The boys spent the day riding four wheelers with their cousin Riley. They had to find the most mud and see how dirty they could get. They were pretty muddy. Carleigh spent the day playing babies with Reese. She got a pair of rain boats from Meme and Grandad and she wore them all day.. even with her Christmas dress.

Is this really December?

Saturday was so beautiful that we all took the day to enjoy it. It is hard to believe that Christmas is in a week when the kids were out playing in t shirts. Tom had the week off and so we had plenty of family time to enjoy the weather. WE will miss you next week Daddy!!!

A Weekend Away.

Tom and I got a weekend getaway thanks to Meme and Grandad this weekend. It was much needed. We went to the mountains of Virginia. Tom's Grandmother use to live there and he has always wanted to take me there so we were off... just the 2 of us...well 3 of us. It was beautiful and so relaxing, even if Tom did have to stop on the side of the moutain to play in the snow and ice! He also insisted on a picture of my huge belly! Thanks honey.

Christmas Cards

Well as you can see making pictures of my three is not as easy as it use to be. Everyone will be very lucky if they get a card with their picture this year. Carleigh wants to pose and the boys just want to aggrevate her. Especially Hunter, I think he may take after his Uncle Marc!

Carleigh did dress up nicely today after the cooking mess. She and her cousin Reese played so hard today that they passed out on the bean bags.... too cute! Still no pictures of the boys. They are just too busy and not interested in picture taking.

Thanksgiving Cooking!

This morning I really saw the meaning of having a daughter. I started my Thanksgiving cooking and Carleigh had to help.... well she thought she was. She had a nice mixture of flour, sugar, chocolate chips and pecans. She had so much fun and so did I . She said she was cooking a pie for Daddy and Grandad. How sweet is that!

Fun in the Leaves

Today was such a beautiful day and we all enjoyed a day outside playing. The kids really loved playing in the leaves. What cheap entertainment! Carleigh loved her cousin Reece playing "Weaves" with her.

Veterans Day

Today Hunter invited Grandad to his school for a Veterans luncheon. It was a real treat for Grandad and Meme who went along. They ate a huge lunch with Hunter's principal and then got to go to Hunter's class for Grandad to answer questions about the war. All the children had written a article about " What a Veteran is to them". It really touched Daddy.... especially Hunter's. It was very special for them.

Diamond are a Girls Best Friend

I guess you could say I am teaching Carleigh early about her jewlry... that or she is just following in her Aunt Bobbi's footsteps! I told her Aunt Bobbi sure would be proud....she is really living up to her namesake. Oh and yes Aunt Stephanie she likes diamonds the best in her dress up stuff.. maybe you taught her that!

Little Princess

Carleigh is such a little princess and she knows it too! She now loves her "Pidtails" and always wants me to put them in. Today when I fixed her hair she told me she wanted to
"Cheese", meaning she wanted her picture taken. She doesn't know she is cute at all!!

Happy Halloween!

As you can see I had the "Pirate Crew" this year for Halloween. The boys wanted to be pirates so bad and then Carleigh decided that she wanted to be one also. So we had 2 pirates and a pirate " princess". They really did look cute. As always I dressed up but there is not much to fit a pregnant person at Halloween so I had to make up a costume. The kids loved it though and Carleigh would not let me take off the green hair at all. As for Tom he was just Daddy again this year!

A campfire on the deck

I bought Tom a fire pit for the deck which we finally used tonight. The kids thought it was great because we cooked smores. Tom just found out that he needs a little more than twigs and leaves for this fire pit. Next time we will be a little more prepared!

Go Gamecocks!!!

Carleigh had to wear her new USC outfit... which her Daddy loved. He didn't even ask how much this outfit was!

Friday, October 20, 2006

Carleigh is such a little ham with the camera. Everytime she does anything funny she wants me to take a picture. This morning she decided to take the toys out of the basket and put herself in... laughing the whole time.

Miss Attitude

Carleigh has finally decided she loves to dress up. Today she found an old bathing suit... with her beads... bedroom shoes... and sun visor. She told Meme to take her to the pool. When Meme said it was too cold to go to the pool then she said, "Ok take me to the beach". She is no dummy!
