Almost Game Time!

Chase had his last practice tonight before his first game. He also got his uniform which he was very proud of. He looks so little out on the field and so cute. Carleigh had to try the hat on also..imagine that.

Only Chase!

Tom may kill me for putting this on the blog but it was way to funny to pass up. Chase thought he was so funny putting on Carleigh's dress. The thing is he looks so much like Carleigh with it on! He is definitely my child with all the personality!

We spent Sunday as usual going to the lake. It was so hot Kerri and I kept the girls in most of the day. They are so funny now playing together and talking to eachother. Already the best of friends! The look too cute in their matching coverups...and Carleigh was playing head, shoulders, knees and toes with Aunt Kerri...she absolutely loves to sing now. Her favorite song to sing is Jesus Loves Me. It is the cutest!

Finally Going!

Well I know this doesn't look very thrilling but this means we are officially going on the house! I am finally getting excited...this apartment is ok but not for long.

Chase finally gets a chance at sports!!!

Well today Chase finally got his first chance to play sports... T ball. He was so excited that he had his clothes laid out when he got up this morning. Needless to say 5:30 could not come fast enough for him today. He loved did... he put on a little show.... that is Chase for you. He was so cute and funny out there. Tom made me stop taking pictures because Chase wanted to pose and model instead of play.

Hunter's Awards Day

Hunter has officially graduated from kindergarten. I cannot believe that my little boy will be in 1st grade. I am having a really hard time with that! Today he had his awards day and also received his kindergarten diploma. What a big boy.

Hunter's First Baseball Practice

Hunter finally decided to try baseball this year and he ended up really loving it. Tonight was his first practice. He is really loving all the sports now.

All Partied Out!!

Chase and Carleigh were so tired they crashed on the way home. I thought this was so cute of them laying on eachother.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Saturday was Tom's birthday and he had a day with the kids. We went to the lake and spent most of the day and then off to a birthday fish fry at his parents. The kids had so much fun being with Daddy all day.. that doesn't happen often in the summer with his work. Happy Birthday Daddy!

Hunter's First Field Day

Hunter had his first field day yesterday and it was so much fun. Of course Chase had to come with me and the teachers were nice enough to let him join in on some of the events. I cannot believe that my little boy is almost finished with kindergarten and will be in 1st grade. Time sure does go by fast.

Moving Right Along....

Two VERY DIRTY little boys!!!

Well we are out of the house and in an apartment... not so bad. We officially broke ground on the house this week and the boys had a big part in it. As you can see Tom had to do the grading himself and the boys were right in the middle of it. Hunter really worked hard... Chase, well he just had fun. Hopefully things will move fast on the house. I just hope I make through these months in this apartment!!!

Strawberry Picking

It was such a beautiful day that after Chase's mom and dad day we went and got Hunter early from school and went strawberry pickin'. Carleigh really was not thrilled with it but the boys loved it. Needless to say we left with more strawberries than we will ever be able to eat.... but it was well worth it.

Chase's Mom and Dad Day...

Chase with Mrs Maston and Mrs Knight

Chase was so excited about today. At school they were having Muffins for Mom and Donuts for Dad. He said he had to look handsome and picked out his own clothes. He was just so cute. He had so many neat surprises for mom and dad that he couldnt' wait to give us. He also served us our muffins and donuts. He has had a great year with a GREAT teacher.

Are those my Girls?

Carleigh and her cousin Reese are unseperatable now! Reese is walking and keeps right up with Carleigh... or trys to. I had to laugh today at my prissy little girls first playing in the dirt and the the dog bowl and then stripped down to nothing pushing a tractor. Kerri we need to teach our girls some other tricks!

A Day of Relaxation...

Carliegh loves her Aunt Kerri.
Reese is finally walking....YEAH

After a very busy week it was so nice to spend the day at the lake with the kids on Saturday. They always love going and being with their cousins. I get a break also because Carleigh is so bad about her Aunt Kerri that she wraps around her the whole time. The water was still cold but it didn't stop the kids from getting in.... they loved it blue lips and all.

Hunter's Spring Carnival

Chase, Hunter and his friend Robert
Chase is going to be our baseball man for sure~!

Hunter had his spring carnival on Friday night and it was so much fun. They had so much for the kids that they went non stop! The favorite part of the night was the silly string fight and yes I had to get in on that one! Hunter's first year at big boy school has been wonderful...couldn't ask for better.

Chase's Spring Program

Chase had his spring program Thursday night and I am telling you my boys just don't like to sing!! He did the same thing Hunter did for 4 years....stood there and looked cute. We got a few little words every once in a while but that was about it. Oh well... maybe Carleigh will blow them away next year.
