Planting Flowers

Carleigh was so excited about working in the yard this weekend. She could not get enough of it and was very proud of her finished product. Of course how many little girls do you know that have to be dressed up to work in the dirt!

We will miss you Buck.

Today we had to let Buck go. He was 14 and has been a part of our lives for a very long time. We loved him with all our heart and it was very hard to loose him but we know he is in heaven chasing ducks again. We will miss him so much!

Brotherly Love

The boys really love their little brother and he really loves them also. It has been 2 weeks and they still want to hold him and do everything for him. Their most favorite thing to do is lay on the bean bag with him and watch TV. That's my boys!

Our friends Mark and Ginny came over this weekend to spend time with the kids. They LOVE them! Ginny brought cookies and ice cream which really won them over. I have a feeling they will have at least 4 kids too... if not more!

Special Visitors

Dylan got to meet some very special friends last night, Anna Kate and Lauren. The girls really loved him and each one had to hold him. Lauren did not last long with him but Anna Kate did not want to give him up! I think they may be ready for a little brother Bek! Another very special visitor came last night also, Sara. Sara is very special to all the kids and I think they really missed her because as you can see they would not leave her alone! Ok Sara so the pressure is on, can you handle all four of them now when we go out.... that is if we ever get to go out again!

Little "D"

We call Dylan Little "D" because he is such a little man. He fits in the palm of Tom's hand and I thought this picture showed how little he is. He is such a sweet baby and is adjusting to our family so well. We are just so glad he is here.

Happy Easter!

We took another adventure out for Easter... we are really getting brave. We all went to the lakehouse to spend Easter with their cousins and Meme and Grandad. Of course they had fun, especially with the baskets Meme and Grandad gave them that were bigger than they were!

Time to dye some eggs.... what an adventure!

Meme was in charge of the eggs this year and the kids loved it. Thank goodness for Meme!!! She came prepared for everything and the kids had so much fun. Chase even had to dye an egg for Dylan.

and the Park

After the zoo we went to the park to play. Chase has the monkey bars figured out! Maybe it is because he is part monkey... or that he is scared of nothing.

A Day at the Zoo

We decided to try an adventure with all 4 of the kids on Friday... a day at the zoo. They did really good and we all had a great time. The kids loved Daddy coming to the zoo with us.

Big Sister

Carleigh adores Dylan. She wants to change him and hold him all the time. It is funny to see the difference in the boys and girl with a baby. She is so motherly already. She really does not like him to cry. She calls him "My baby".

Proud Brothers

Chase and Hunter are very proud of their little brother. It is so funny to watch them with him. They want to do everything for him , although I am sure that will change soon. Hunter's only concern is that he does not want to change any diapers and Chase wants to know when he will have teeth so he can eat. Dylan you are in for a ride with these two!!

Welcome Home Dylan!

Well after many long weeks and ALOT of prayers Dylan Ray joined us on March 28th at 2:30pm. He weighed 6lb 3oz which was not bad considering he was a preemie. He is doing great and we are already home. His brothers and sister are sooooo excited. Thank you everyone for all thoughts, prayers and help you have given Tom and I over the past couple of months. It was a rough ride but he was worth every bit of it!

A VERY LONG week!

Sorry no post for a while but it has been a little hectic around here. We went for a scheduled visit with the doctor on Monday morning and I was sent straight to the hospital. What we thought was a 24 observation turned into a week long of medication changes on the blood pressure, an amio, and I have no idea what else. It was just crazy. I am back at home tonight....thank goodness but I am not sure how long I will be here. I have to go back to the hospital in the monring for another steroid shot and to be monitored for a little while. Now that 3 doctors have taken on my case maybe the end is in sight. The doctors have really been great and they are trying to keep this little man in as long as possible. I will keep you all updated. Thank you for all the calls and prayers. We need them.

Happy 5th Birthday Chase!

Thanks to Meme we pulled off a party for Chase today. With me in the hospital since Friday it was not very easy for anybody but with Meme in full action the party took place. I got home right in time after alot of sweet talking the doctor into letting me go home for my baby's birthday. I cannot believe he is 5 today! Thank you everybody for helping out so much.... hopefully we will be back to some kind of normal very soon!

Baby Update

We went today for another ultrasound of Baby Cole and he is still hanging in there. He weighs about 4 1/2 lbs right now so we were excited to hear that. The doctor is trying to hold him off for another week and then he will be in the clear. We think he looks like Chase in this picture.... tell us your thoughts!

Showered with Diapers!!

Thanks to Meme and Aunt Kerri we are really ready for Baby Cole(still no name) now. They gave us a wonderful diaper shower! The girls really had fun in their matching blue dresses that Meme made. So now all we need is a name and a baby... which we hope we wait at least another week. We will keep you updated.
